QCAI has a number of projects using satellite imagery analysis for different tasks such as road network inference, crash risk maps, internal displacement monitoring, flood extent and vulnerability mapping, among others. This project aims to combine these individual projects in a unified framework and build customized solutions for potential end users. To this end, we plan to maintain and further improve existing models we have for various tasks. In addition, we plan to develop new generalizable models that can capitalize on synergistic power of combining data from multiple Earth-observing satellites. Ultimately, we will continuously reach out and engage with stakeholders to identify their needs and priorities to ensure the most beneficial use/deployment of our technologies.
