Focuses on improving the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of core AI models and algorithms. By optimizing training, architectures, and computation, this subgroup enables robust, high-performance AI adaptable to complex, data-driven tasks.

AI & Data Discovery

Advances intelligent data systems for AI, with emphasis on smart infrastructure for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Through better data organization and retrieval, this subgroup enhances AI’s ability to access, integrate, and apply information effectively.

Fanar GenAI Platform

Qatar’s first Arabic generative AI platform, built for the Arabic-speaking world. Fanar is a large language model (LLM) that understands and generates Arabic with depth, accuracy, and cultural sensitivity, supporting education, research, government, creative industries.
